Their model Schwalbe KR51/1 is still considered to be an iconic in Germany for its performance and unique design; its popularity doesn't yield even Italian Vespa.

Simson S51 B1-4 also belongs to the family of these motorcycles and boasts with a very good engine for its time. Its motor is very successful from the point of usability and maintainability. It doesn't have the shortcomings that were in the model 53/2kf (the main bearings are lubricated with an oil-gasoline mixture, kick and seals are on the outside, and it is easy to put in place without disassembling the motor). Owing to their motors, the Simson S51 B1-4 and S50 models became the most famous representatives of the brand series.
